The selected candidate will be responsible for developing technical training content for various customers across the AEHF product line. In addition, they will also perform training course conducts for various DoD customers in a schoolhouse setting. This instructor will be comfortable instructing both Operations and Maintenance activities on a complicated satellite communications system.
4+ years’ loading USG cryptographic keying material and adhering to all handling procedures
Handling National Security Information Classification material
Satellite communications theory including multiplexing, beam formation, frequency bands, satellite geometry, and navigation data
Redhat Linux operating system basic navigation and functionality
Familiar with built-in testing (BIT) functionality and reporting to support fault detection, fault isolation, and validation
Microsoft Office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
Active Secret clearance
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment
Proficient at adhering to safety procedures including warnings and cautions, live circuits, high voltage, and radiation (hazards of electromagnetic radiation to ordnance (HERO) and hazards of electromagnetic radiation to personnel (HERP)
Proficient at donning and use of personnel protective equipment (PPE) for electrical equipment and application of procedures for working with electrostatic discharge sensitive (ESDS) equipment
Ability to conduct basic forms of instructional and training analysis
Instructional Systems Design familiarity and/or certification
U.S. Military Instructor certification
Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM related field specifically Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or related Degree
In lieu of Bachelor's degree, candidate may also possess an Associate's degree with 6 years' related experience or High school Diploma with 8 years' of related experience
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems
