Senior Project Planning & Control Analyst

An opportunity is now available for a Senior Project Planning & Control Analyst who wants to be part of something big. The Senior Project Planning & Control Analyst is responsible for the implementation and operation of the systems to plan and monitor performance of projects and ensure these systems are compliant with customer and company requirements.

The Senior Project Planning & Control Analyst develops executable cost and schedule baseline plans, as well as ensuring accurate and timely reporting of progress against the baseline plans and support management analysis. The role will also perform corrective actions and development of Estimates at Completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and integrate the project planning and control and finance systems for projects, as applicable.
  • Ensure that performance and finance reports generated are prepared in accordance with the reporting timetable and providing analysis and assessment of ongoing project performance.
  • Develop and maintain a work breakdown structure and project schedule for program capability deliveries.
  • Implement effective project controls and project planning and control process compliance is enforced.
  • Exercise effective controls over program baselines.
  • Ensure integrity of data included in performance reports and Estimates at Completion.
  • Guide project managers and control account managers in planning, analysing and assessing project cost and schedule performance.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Requires a University Degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years prior relevant experience.
  • Experience contributing to operational plans that impact the achievement of results of the Function / Product Line.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance as needed. Eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva.
